We’re meeting for the fourth time. For the nearest two weeks you’ll be wandering the streets of Jelenia Góra  to call in at local pubs and cafes, where you’ll have an opportunity to acquaint yourself with everything that we’ve prepared for you. As always you’ll have a chance to see the works of  young, talented photographers. Most of them have graduated from Jelenia Góra School of Arts and Crafts. Some participants have already debuted with their photographic works. For others, it’ll be the first individual meeting with the receiver. Nine authors will present us their feelings and thoughts. They’re young, talented, resilient, full of interesting ideas, and working with them – lasting since January – has been a pure pleasure for us.
We’ve managed to invite Gdynia dweller, Edyta Rembała to take part in the event. She’ll present photographs of Czernobyl, the place that she went to of her own free will, on her own responsibility.
In the programme of this year edtition, among other things, there’ll be a documentary about Annie Leibovitz – an American photographer, mostly known for making portraits of  celebrities.
This year,  anyone who is eager to have a good time, can take part in a photographic contest for the most interesting documentation of fotoruszenie. There’ll be attractive prizes for the winners. Moreover, for the participants, we’ve organized an open-air photo session in Liberec.
The most interesting works of the contest and the open-air photo session will be presented in the first months of 2012 in Książnica Karkonoska and in the Regional Research Library in Liberec, which is our partner of this year edition. The participation of the Czech associate has enabled to obtain finance from the EU resources and for this we’re really grateful to Liberec Library.
And again, October evenings will be characterized by photography, mostly amateur but still real. Young people are creators of fotoruszenie, and all of us who are interested in this domain of art, are the viewers. It’s you and your presence at former editions of the event, that makes sense for us to continue our work and we wish to keep organizing for YOU, this special – October time – time of Jelenia Góra photography. If you’re still with us, we promise another editions with more and more interesting programme.
